Marcella A. Curnow
ROXBURY – Marcella A. Curnow died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was 77.
Born and raised in Mine Hill, to the late George Danielson Sr. and Emma Truscott, she moved to Wharton in 1990, and then to the Lower Berkshire Valley section of Roxbury in 2000.
Mrs. Curnow was a supervisor of housekeeping at Morris View nursing home for more than 20 years, retiring in1994.
She was a life member of the Mine Hill Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Ever Young Senior Citizens of Roxbury and the Good Years Senior Citizens of Mine Hill.
She also was a member of the Cornish Society East.
Her husband, Charles F., in 2005, her daughter, Lisa Curnow, in 1990, her brother, George Danielson Jr., in 2001, and her brother-in-law, Elmer Tregenza, in 2004, all died previously.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas and his wife, Gabriela of Utica, N.Y., and Mark and his wife, Jean of Oahu, Hawaii; three daughters, Lynn Donnell and her husband, John of Exeter, N.H., Nancy McCormick and her husband, Joe of Hamilton Square and Wendy Curnow and her husband, Michael Colligan of Wharton; her sister, Janice Tregenza of Fort Collins, Colo.; her sisters-in-law, Irene Danielson of Mine Hill and Betty Curnow of Netcong; 12 grandchildren, Eric Donnell and his wife, Donna, Joseph McCormick and his wife, Jamie, Margaret Curnow, Joseph Curnow, Brian McCormick, Marissa McCormick, Mark Curnow Jr., Michael Curnow, Theresa Curnow, Jennifer Curnow, Samantha Colligan, and Matthew Colligan; and four great-grandchildren, Brennan Donnell and Alison Donnell, and Amelia Nelson and Reily McCormick.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at the Mine Hill Presbyterian Church, 213 Route 46, Mine Hill, N.J. 07803. Donations in her memory to the memorial fund of the church will be appreciated.

MC GUCKIAN Doris Regina Burns McGuckian New Jersey native, 82 Mrs. Doris Regina Burns McGuckian (nee Denman) died quietly on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at Regents Park Nursing Home in Boca Raton, Fla. She was 82 years of age. Services will take place Thursday, Sept. 18, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Pocono Pines, Pa. Visitation is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with the Mass immediately following. Interment is at Pocono Lake Cemetery. Born in Harrison, Mrs. McGuckian lived in Fords and Edison most of her life. She was a traveling snowbird with her husband, Donald. They spent winters in Florida and summers in the Poconos. Doris was predeceased by her parents, George and Irene Denman, and her brothers, Fr. George Denman and Walter Denman. She was also predeceased by her former husband, Jean (Buddy) E. Burns; her daughter, Karen I. Burns, who died in infancy, and her sons, Brian A. Burns and Sean R. McGuckian. Doris is survived by her husband, Donald McGuckian; her sister, Lucille Waskiewicz; her daughters, Patricia Travostino and Jean Daly and her husband, Thomas, and her stepson, Donald McGuckian and his wife, Elaine. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jeffrey and Erin Daly and Michael and Nicole Travostino, and a greatgrandson, Michael, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
